With Tow Mode (Beta), Yarbo can tow compatible tools and equipment to perform various towing tasks, such as lawn maintenance and yard care operations.
| To enable or disable Tow Mode: Go to: Yarbo App → Yarbo Settings → Yarbo Lab → Tow Mode (Beta) You can enable or disable this feature anytime based on your needs. |
After enabling Tow Mode, you can configure towing settings for each area. The available settings include: ¶ Moving SpeedAdjust Yarbo’s travel speed during towing tasks. Available options: Slowest/Slow/Medium/Fast/Fastest ¶ Tow ItemSelect the type of equipment being towed or customize your own item dimensions. Available options: Roller : 43D × 42W inch Dethatcher: 39D × 48W inch Sweeper: 39D × 56W inch Drag Harrow: 20D × 96W inch Customize: Set your own tow item size Note: The dimensions shown next to each Tow Item represent its length and width limits. The actual attached equipment can be any size as long as it fits within the selected limits. ¶ Path SpacingAdjust the distance between towing routes based on your needs. The path spacing can be adjusted from 0 to 120 inches. ¶ Preview Towing RoutesAfter adjusting the settings, use the Preview function to check the generated towing routes before starting the task. ¶ NoteThe towing area must meet the following requirements: The Area must have a regular shape (such as a rectangle or circle) and contain no more than 2 No-Go Zones. The Area must be at least 100 m² (1,000 sqft) in size. If the Area contains sharp corners, narrow sections, or irregular edges, Yarbo may skip these sections to ensure smoother operation. |

In addition to automatically generated towing routes, you can create a Memory Path to let Yarbo follow a manually recorded route for towing tasks. To create a Memory Path: Go to: Map → Edit Map → More → Memory Path Then follow the instructions to record the desired route.
Notes:
Before starting a Memory Path task, align Yarbo’s heading direction with the original travel direction used when recording the Memory Path.
This helps improve path calculation success and reduces the possibility of navigation failure caused by limited turning space.
Since a towed object is attached behind Yarbo, obstacle avoidance and stuck recovery behaviors are limited during Tow Mode operation.
Yarbo will not perform reverse movements to avoid obstacles or recover from stuck situations while towing.
Before starting a towing task, please ensure the planned route is clear and provides enough space for smooth operation.
