After Yarbo completes recharging at the Docking Station, you may notice that the cutting deck automatically lowers to 1.2 inches (the minimum cutting height). Some users have mistaken this behavior for Yarbo mowing the entire plan at the lowest setting — but that is not the case.
- Cleaning Convenience
The disc lowers after docking to make it easier for users to clean grass buildups from the blades.
- Design Intent
This feature is intentional and only applies after a recharge cycle, not during mowing.
- Yarbo always follows the cutting height you have set in the app (1.2–4 inches range).
- The lowered deck position only occurs after docking is complete.
- Your mowing plan is executed at the selected cutting height, not at the post-docking position.
The automatic lowering of the cutting deck after docking is a maintenance-friendly design choice, not a change to your mowing plan settings.
