When Yarbo is close to being fully charged, the system may enter a low-current maintenance charging stage to help keep the battery near full capacity. However, staying in continuous maintenance charging for an extended period is not ideal for long-term battery health.
To help protect the battery, Yarbo may temporarily pause charging after the battery has reached full charge. During this stage, the battery may naturally decrease from 100% to around 98%. Once the battery level drops to the recharge threshold, Yarbo will automatically resume charging.
This cycle is part of Yarbo’s intelligent battery protection mechanism and is designed to help extend battery life.
When Yarbo is temporarily not charging and is not in sleep mode, the unit may appear awake, and the lights may turn on. This is why some users may see the lights fully illuminated even though the battery still shows 100% or near 100%.
In other words, the lights turning on during this stage is usually related to the Battery Care process, not a charging failure.
Please also note that while Yarbo is in Battery Care mode, connecting to the unit through the mobile app will wake it from sleep mode.
After the app is closed for a few minutes, Yarbo will automatically return to sleep mode, and the lights will turn off as well.
In most cases, no action is required. Yarbo will manage the charging cycle automatically.
If the lights remain on for an unusually long time, or if the unit does not return to sleep mode after the app has been closed for several minutes, please contact Yarbo Support for further assistance.
