¶ Adaptive Slope
With the Adaptive Slope enabled, Yarbo functions much like cruise control in a car. It actively offsets the effects of gravity to maintain your exact set speed, while also dynamically correcting its direction on slopes greater than 5 degrees for stable movement.
Here is how it works:
- Going Uphill: Gravity normally slows things down. Yarbo will automatically increase power (appearing to accelerate) just enough to maintain your set speed.
- Going Downhill: Gravity normally speeds things up. Yarbo will automatically apply resistance (appearing to decelerate or brake) to prevent exceeding your set speed.
How to find it:
To turn the Adaptive Slope algorithm on or off, simply navigate to Yarbo Settings > Work Preferences, scroll down to the bottom, and you will find the toggle.
