The Mower Pro includes additional control on obstacle avoidance. By enabling Boundary Obstacle Avoidance or Ultrasonic Detection, the Mower Pro can decide to avoid obstacles by combining camera and ultrasonic sensing, to manage close-distance risk or dangling objects (swingers, goalpost) more precisely.
When Yarbo travels along a Pathway with Obstacle Avoidance enabled, the logic differs slightly from work areas:
If an obstacle (like a parked car) blocks the Pathway: Yarbo will pause the auto plan and return to the Docking Station.
If Yarbo is returning to recharge and detects an obstacle: It will stop immediately instead of attempting to squeeze past.
This conservative behavior is intentional — it minimizes the risk of accidental contact in tight spaces. Future updates will further enhance how Yarbo handles Pathway obstacles.
