When Use Vision is turned off, visual obstacle detection is disabled. The only available bypass option is Gentle Contact. In this case, when an obstacle is encountered, Yarbo will not slow down upon detection—it will continue at its current speed until the bumper bar makes contact, then perform obstacle bypass.
When Use Vision is turned on, even in Gentle Contact mode, Yarbo will first slow down after visually detecting an obstacle, then continue until the bumper bar makes contact before bypassing.
Designed for tall grass (20cm+) or divided work areas. Minimizes missed sections by allowing slight contact with obstacles.
When the camera detects something ahead, the mower slowly reduces speed to 0.1m/s and approaches to a very close distance.
It will lightly trigger the bumper, then immediately back up, change the angle, and continue working along that edge.
If you do not want to rely on vision and prefer to let the mower use physical contact to decide when to back off, you can turn off the “Use Vision” option.
This mode is enabled by default when the mower is in a dead end.
