¶ Feature Overview
When the Auger in Work Plan setting is turned off, Yarbo will perform the entire work plan without activating the auger.
The rover will still move according to the plan, following its paths and route patterns, but no snow will be collected or thrown.
This feature was designed to address user needs in specific scenarios — such as when:
- The snow blower module is attached, but there’s no snow yet (e.g., preseason testing).
- Users want to test automatic plans or mapping safely without the noise of the auger.
- Users wish to avoid auger rotation indoors or on dry surfaces to prevent wear and unnecessary power use.
¶ How to Use
- Open the Yarbo App → Go to Work Preference.
- Locate Auger in Work Plan toggle.
- Switch OFF to disable auger operation for the plan.
- Save your settings and run your test plan.

- Enables safe off-season testing and mapping.
- Reduces operational noise during trial runs.
- Protects auger components from unnecessary wear and tear.
- Helps fine-tune snow throw parameters before winter.
