Cause | What’s Happening | How to Fix |
---|---|---|
1. No HaLow or 4G Connection | Data Center or Core can’t receive RTCM corrections over HaLow/4G | - Check cellular settings on both devices - Ensure SIM card is active and properly seated - Contact support if issue persists |
2. Obstructions Blocking Satellites | Trees, buildings or other obstacles block line-of-sight | - Move Data Center or Core to a more open area - Draw No-Go Zones around tall obstacles in the map - Swap left/right antennas to find stronger reception |
3. Loose or Damaged Cables | Faulty Ethernet/PoE or RTK antenna connections | - Inspect and reseat cables at the Data Center and router - Tighten RTK antenna wires on both Core and Data Center |
4. Data Center Errors | Internal DC fault or misconfiguration | - Observe DC indicator lights for error codes - Unplug/replug the PoE cable to reset - Verify DC firmware is up to date |
5. Core Hardware or Calibration Issues | Antenna misalignment or sensor fusion errors | - Check “Adjust Angle” and “HeadingDop” values on Diagnose page; values ≠ 1 may indicate miscalibration - Power-cycle the Core via Yarbo Settings → Safety Settings → Restart Yarbo System - Ensure all internal components and sensors are properly connected |
6. Software or Version Mismatch | Outdated firmware or app causing miscommunication | - In the app, verify both Core and DC firmware versions match the latest release - Update via Settings → Version Information |
Data Center
Must have an unobstructed view of the sky (≥ 120° clearance).
Aim for visibility to at least 25 satellites.
Yarbo Core
Position where 20+ satellites are in view.
Avoid overhead obstacles; use No-Go Zones around trees, sheds, etc.
Ethernet/Internet: Unplug and replug cables at the Data Center and your router.
RTK Antenna: Tighten connections; inspect for damage.
Router/Wi-Fi: Confirm stable local network access for DC.
Restart Yarbo Core
In the app: Yarbo Settings → Safety Settings → Restart Yarbo System
Reboot Data Center
Physically unplug the PoE cable, wait 5 s, then reconnect.
