Temperature changes can slightly affect camera alignment over time. Camera calibration helps reduce noticeable false detections in visual obstacle avoidance and supports more reliable operation.
¶ Before you begin, prepare:
✅ Printed calibration paper
✅ A flat, rigid board
✅ A ruler
✅ Enough space to hold the board safely
¶ Complete calibration in 3 steps:
¶ 1. Download & Print
- Print on A4 paper or larger. Each square should measure 20–50 mm / 0.8–2.0 in and remain perfectly square.
¶ 2. Place & Secure
- Fix the paper to a flat, rigid board. Measure one square and enter the exact size in the Yarbo app.
¶ 3. Show to Camera
- Clean all camera lenses. Make sure they are free of dirt, water spots, and smudges.
- Hold the board about 12 in / 30 cm away. Move it slowly in each direction, rotate it below 45°, and hold each position for about 1 second.
💡 For best results: Keep the full pattern visible, use even lighting, and avoid glare until calibration is complete.
