Yarbo now supports NetRTK Service, giving users another way to receive RTK correction data without relying only on a locally installed Data Center.
With NetRTK, RTK correction data is received from an external network RTK service over the internet. This gives users a simpler and more flexible setup option, with fewer local installation requirements and lower setup barriers.
At the same time, Yarbo Local RTK through the Data Center remains a reliable option for users who prefer a private, dedicated, locally deployed RTK correction source.
¶ NetRTK Service may be especially suitable for users who:
Have less-than-ideal Data Center placement: For example, ground-level installation, limited sky view, or nearby obstructions. NetRTK can provide a more flexible alternative when Data Center conditions are not optimal.
Prefer a simpler setup: For users who want to reduce installation work, such as roof mounting, wiring, or repeated base station adjustments.
Use Yarbo in a new location: For example, after moving to a new home or temporarily using Yarbo at a friend’s or family member’s property, without installing another local base station.
Please note: Whenever you switch between NetRTK Service and the Data Center, please complete Correct Map Drift before use to ensure proper map alignment.
NetRTK service availability can be checked in the app.
